Great view, spacious room

The hotel had a really great view of the surrounding area and the room we were in was very spacious. The location was also convenient, being close to many attractions. Another advantage was the friendly staff who provided us with some useful information for our trip.

The bed was very uncomfortable and we struggled to get a good night's sleep. The heating system was not very effective, making the room quite cold and uncomfortable.

Everything met the needs. Close to the airport, 20 km.

We visited that motel before and we appreciated facilities and breakfast. Handy base for weekend in Paihia. At pearl of the bay we had an enjoyable stay:)))

I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back in a heartbeat; for some delicious treats and a good cup of tea, be sure to stop by El Cafe which is nearby.

Rooms were clean and the bathroom facilities were very good. The view was great and there was no noisy neighbors or traffic noise

We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. We especially enjoyed the stunning views from our balcony, which overlooked the beautiful harbor and mountains. Location-wise, this hotel was perfect for us, as it was right on the waterfront and only a 5-minute walk away from the beach. Lastly, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming-- they made us feel right at home!

Nothing not to like.

The owner was superb and the service very good. Every room has a flat- screen tv. A large collection of DVDs is provided. Bbq facilities made freely available. Would highly recommend to anyone.

WIreless internet and the safe were a real plus. Rooms were clean and the bathroom was excellent - newly renovated. Andrew (the owner) really liked being asked questons and was a wealth of reliable of information. Although out of Paihia central there were a couple of really good walks along the foreshore to Paihia (not at high tide) and south over the bridge along the fordshore to Opua. Good standard family accommodation for the price.

This place has a great view of the forest and there's a Makana chocolate boutique nearby.

The location with the views suited us for our visit to the Bay of Islands. The manager was extremely helpful and most entertaining. The motel was a really good "allrounder" with many facilities.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely sitting area and a balcony where I could soak in the views. The amenities provided were top-notch, including ironing facilities, an in-room safe, and a dining table. I was also impressed with the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, which made it easy for me to stay connected. The staff here went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They were flexible with check-in arrangements and even made a reservation for me when the tourism office had already closed for the day. The service was truly exceptional.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The staff, amenities, and location are truly top-notch.

The hotel is situated on top of a hill providing a spectacular view of the bay. Near enough to stroll to for the beach. Rooms are clean and spacious with a variety of selection. Our hostess was very helpful and patient. The hotel offered BBQ facilities as an extra bonus.

The hotel lacked elevators making it difficult for the elderly or disabled.
